Welcome to Sixth Form
In the Sixth Form at Campion we are keen that every student achieves their academic potential. Key to this is our excellent support and guidance programme. All students have a personal tutor to help them through the Sixth Form and to help them out of the Sixth Form into their chosen career or course at university. One of the ways students will be supported is through the process of academic monitoring and review. Every half term subject teachers will complete a formal assessment of progress. This then forms the basis of individual mentoring discussions with tutors, helping students to improve their performance.
The Sixth Form Centre provides excellent facilities for students. There are extensive computers and other resources to help students study. The area also provides a social space for students at breaks and lunchtimes.
The overwhelming majority of Sixth Form students go on to study at top Universities.
Welcome from our Head Girl and Boy
Campion Sixth Form provides a vibrant atmosphere for the academic and pastoral development of a student’s time here, providing high standards of learning across all subjects for AS and A2. Warm relationships between students and teachers are evident and these create a cohesive and harmonious school community. Also, with the revolutionary changes to the Student Leadership, we have an ever increasing number of roles for aspiring students to apply for such as Prefect, Head of House and Head Girl or Boy.
The school provides up to date equipment for interactive lessons to ensure that all learners are challenged and motivated. Teaching and learning is extremely good and sixth form students receive a comprehensive package of support for careers advice and guidance. This includes mentoring to ensure that students make the most of the opportunities available post sixth form, whether they are studying at university, embarking upon an apprenticeship or progressing into the world of work.
