WIDER SCHOOL OPENING UPDATE YEARS 10 AND 12

We are extremely excited to begin to welcome our students back in to school from the 15th June. The safety of our staff and students remains our priority and therefore we are adopting a staged reintroduction of students with year 10 being welcomed back from 15th June and year 12 from 22nd June.

Year 10

From Monday 15th June we will be widening our doors further and welcoming back our year 10 students into school for some face to face teaching.  We ask that all parents open the infographic link below which contains important information regarding year 10 provision (this is also on page 2 of this publication for your ease of reference) and complete the accompanying transport questionnaire as a matter of urgency also by following the link below.

Our aim is for all year 10 students to be in school for one designated day each week.  This day will not be negotiable and will be determined by the government restrictions that dictate the number of students who can be in school on any given day.  We are very excited at the prospect of seeing our year 10 students back in school learning.  We will send further, more detailed information regarding the year 10 student experience over the coming week.

Year 12

Our year 12 students have benefitted from a programme of live lessons which has proved to be hugely successful in moving their learning forward and providing personalised feedback. We are incredibly proud of how well our year 12 students have engaged with this new form of learning and will continue to offer this programme until our students join us for face to face sessions from 22nd June.

Further details of our wider opening plans will be sent to you via parentmail.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through our plans.
