A New Way to Record, Track and Monitor Homework at Campion School
We are excited to be launching Show My Homework, an online tool to help you keep track of your child’s homework. Show My Homework will allow you to see the details of the tasks your child has been set, as well as their submission status and grades.
You will be provided with login details to your personal account, ready-linked to your child’s homework calendar. We are issuing login details to Year 8 and Year 10 this week and will roll out the logins over the next fortnight for Years 7, 9 and 12. Students will be given letters (paper copies) this week with their and your login details. Students have also been told how you can see their homework from the ‘General Calendar’ on the school site. We will also email and distribute a PDF pack of useful information that will be available on the school website.
In order to access the site, simply log onto the school web page. On the front of our home page is a link to the site. Additional information will be provided in the letters and PDF pack here.
The advantages of this system are that it enables you to;
v have 24/7 access
v view the quality and quantity of homework
v receive a translation into over 50 languages
v access free apps available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices
v receive automated responses before homework is due.
We will be launching Show My Homework with students in tutor time during this week. We hope that this service will provide parents with a deeper insight into the homework your child receives. More importantly, we hope that it will improve your child’s organisation, time management and help them to keep on top of their workload.
