Electronic Engineering at Royal Holloway

Good morning,

Over the next ten years, experts are predicting that the UK will have a shortage of one million engineers. Royal Holloway is looking to address this by opening a new department of Electronic Engineering, which will admit its first cohort in September 2017

We will train the next generation of talented electronic engineers by taking a different approach to our degrees, informed by an industrial advisory panel of experts from across the South East regional technology hub. Our teaching centres on creativity, and is informed by the three key steps in the engineering process:

  • Ingenuity
  • Invention
  • Product development

If you are interested in learning more about the Electronic Engineering programme and Royal Holloway, we welcome school visits throughout the year and are happy to work with your school to develop a programme of activities that will meet the needs of your students. For additional information or to ask any questions, please contact us at schools@rhul.ac.uk.
