Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

Campion School and Language College welcomes students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The inclusion department has a clear vision of the importance of assessing students who have been identified with a special educational need or disability (SEND). We are committed to providing an inclusive education, supporting all students to access the curriculum and participate fully in the life of our school community. As a school we are working towards narrowing the attainment gap between SEND and non-SEND students through a combination of quality first wave teaching and appropriate interventions where necessary.

Campion is an inclusive school and we offer a range of provision where appropriate to support children with communication and interaction, cognitive and learning difficulties, social, mental and emotional health problems or sensory and physical needs.

We have a dedicated team of staff who are highly skilled in many areas of SEND.
